State of Play: Final Round

February 25, 2016

The final day of the Home and Away Season

All 4 Senior Grades will head into the final day of the home delicately poised to try and end with a win.

D Grade have a big total on the board after Goof’s heroics last weekend with 141. The mix of youth and experience will need to defend 346, and if they do they’ll feature in finals next weekend.

C Grade have a big challenge ahead and will attempt to rein in 360+ against Central Park. The boys will need to be at their very best to end the season with a win. Unfortunately C Grade won’t feature in the finals this season

B Grade clawed their way to post 180 last week off the back off Dean Letizia’s 60, before being bowled out. The boys had some time to have a crack at Euroa with Charlie McLay snagging 3 quick wickets to have their opponents 5/25 at stumps. A win will be very important for B Grade as they fight for a higher spot in the Top 6.

A Grade are also in a fight for 3rd spot with Mooroopna and will need to play well to snag it. Alec’s boys were bowled out for 106 on the first day, but fought back into the contest snaring 3 quick wickets for just 18 runs. It’ll be on for young and old early Saturday!
